My name is Lan Pagliaro, and I am a Melbourne-based artist. Over the past nine years, I have dedicated myself to developing my art skills to a level I am proud of. Through practice, determination, and dedication, I have mastered various mediums. My favourites include soft pastels, watercolour paints, and charcoal, though I have also explored oils, acrylics, alcohol ink, acrylic ink, collage, mixed media, sculpture, and printmaking.
In my art, I strive to connect with viewers on an emotional level. Recently, I have focused on portraiture, aiming to capture the essence of my subjects in a raw and organic way. I resist confining myself to a single style, constantly experimenting with different ideas and techniques. I believe that success often comes through the lessons learned from failure.
Art is my way of communicating the complexities of the human experience. It allows me to explore and express ideas, emotions, and stories that might be difficult to convey through words alone. Creating art gives me a sense of fulfillment and purpose, offering a therapeutic outlet for self-expression and reflection. Each piece I create is a journey of discovery, pushing the boundaries of my creativity and challenging me to grow both personally and artistically.
Looking to the future, I aim to continue creating, exploring new techniques, and growing as an artist. I hope to participate in more art exhibitions, seeking opportunities to connect with a broader audience.
