ARTIST BIO

Adriana grew up in Melbourne, surrounded by talented creatives, her grandfather and father were painter/decorators restoring the beautiful churches in Puglia, Italy. Her grandmother, a seamstress, making stunning coats/dresses in an afternoon and her mother is a stylist and the most amazing cook.

Although mostly self taught, Adriana has studied the following: oil painting with professional Australian artists, Professional Drawing (Cert I), fashion illustration, and Design (Cert IV), bold colour school. Illustrated/painted live at the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival 2018 and 2019 as well as various other public and private events and private commissions. 

Adriana’s inspiration comes from everywhere, but mostly people, photography, fashion, family, architecture and culture.

Her art explores colour, negative space and also monochrome, it includes figurative, portraiture and abstract.

The materials she uses varies between, acrylics, inks, oils, charcoal, graphite and pastels on paper/canvas.
